Annoying relatives Before I rant, I'd just like to say that I love my family and I buy them all presents but...
My Uncle Brian pisses me off so much. I am feeling very fragile from last night and soon I have to go meet the family at a pub and then we're all off round to my parents house. There's going to be no kids, as my cousins are all staying at home with the children, so there goes my only chance of an intelligent conversation. My Uncle goes on and on about me being a vegetarian (it wasn't funny the first time in 1990). He acts all chummy and leans close and talks bollocks to you. He's irritating and unfunny. I've just got off the phone to my brother and he's been laughing at me having to spend a whole day with my Uncle. Normaly when my cousins kids are there, I look after them which keeps me out of his way but today...  ...is going to be a very long day.
To make matters even better, all my mates are coming round to our flat today, but I probably won't get there till 10pm as my parents live about 6 miles away and I'm dependent on my Uncle & Auntie for a lift. Might walk home after the tea, it'll do me good after all the eating I'm doing today. Still, Merry Christmas everyone! My parents have this thing about eating Sunday/Xmas dinner at about 3 in the afternoon, so I've normaly binged on chocolate all day by the time it's served. I love my relatives too daned but I completely agree with the title of this topic 100%!!! They annoy the shit out of me !!! I'm sooo happy today is finally here! remember back in the day when stereo type meant RCA & SONY

 merry christmas to ya, and don't let some silly uncle ruin the holidays for you! next year, give him the "meet your meat" gross-out DVD, but put it in a porn package... that should set him straight!
every single member of my family is either neurotic or wacky or both, so i can relate. makes working during the holidays very palatable, i tell you!  | |
