When he first ever appeared, was he Dr DAVID or BRUCE Banner?

Bruce--always been Bruce--in fact the person he saved from a gamma ray test site explosion in the desert was named David who became his life-long friend.

One thing that pisses me off is ion Spiderman how MaryJane is not th eMaryJane in the comic book in perosnality. MaryJane is more of a free spirit veracious type of perosnality...the movie has her damn near one tragedy from being a goth kid.

i'm glad they didn't go for the 90's MaryJane though, that was all glam and supermodelly. Kirsten Dunst is a pretty girl, but she can play other things than drop-dead gorgeous. but i was expecting them to go with the ultra-glam post-McFarlane MJ, so i was relieved that they played her as a little more awkward and (relatively) mousy.

Her character is something of a combination of her orignal universe character, and her Ultimate universe counterpart. Either that, or you could say they combined her with Gwen Stacy.

hmmm i just realized why Rick Jones isn't in the Hulk movie.

because Captain Marvel is probably out there waiting to be licensed, and Rick Jones is also central to that character (especially the latest incarnation, in which they share a body--or has that changed since the latest relaunch?).

after about 6 months of wondering, it just dawned on me that's probably why his character isn't in the Hulk movie.

could have just changed his name though... shrug

yeah, Rick should have been in it. that is a major omission. as it's own thing though, this is a beautiful movie well-directed and edited and brought to the screen. it's just the Rick Jones omission and the addition of the Absorbing Man stuff that really weighs it down. otherwise, i LOVE the look of it, the pace of it, pretty much everything else but those 2 things.

Okay, I see your point. I've got a couple of friends who are trying to get me to give it another chance, but I was just so dissapointed that I haven't been able to bring myslef to do it. Still, youargue your point well. "Hulk" is officially out of the running for worst film of 2003.

that's true, but i'm hoping that in one of the sequels there will be a seperate Gwen Stacy. Spiderman just isn't Spiderman without the Death Of Gwen Stacy

Easy one.

Scary Movie 3 was the most unfunny movie ever.

So far
Gigli: 1 vote

Scary Movie3: 1 vote

Dreamcatcher: 1 vote

Johnny English: 1 vote

Surprised there haven't been more votes for the Matrix flicks, judging from the reactions I've heard, most everyone hated them (although I must say, as bad as they were, they didn't come anywhere near the shittiness of such flicks as Kangaroo Jack. I mean, who thought a talking Kangaroo movie would be good??)

That was pretty awful, wasn't it? (even worse if you've read the Alan Moore graphic novel).

And what was all that crap with Quaterman dying, only to be ressurected at the end (when he didn't die in the book), or the crap about Mina being a vampire???
