We are alive, we have roofs over our heads, we have food to eat, we have people who care about us and people who love us. Those of us who have these things will find peace and happiness in helping those that don't.
We live on a planet of wonder and beauty. Sorry, I'm not very good at expressing how fortunate we are, like many of us I take it too much for granted. I hope you are surrounded by good people who can help you get through it. If you have a God, pray to him/her, there is always comfort in prayer. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP. |

Boethius, in his classic "The Consolation Of Philosophy" likens fortune to a great wheel. Change is constant but as the wheel can bring us down, it is also our saviour as it will bring us up too. I can't stress how fantastic and life-changing this medieval classic really is.
