I dreamed I was at the Oscars, sitting with Sally Field. I was nominated in 2 categories. In one, I was the only nominee, so I knew I would win, but it was for a film I made but knew nothing about. I was afraid it was made by another "Chris Garcia", and that when I accepted the award, I'd be exposed as a fraud. During the show, Prince came out to perform. He got a verse out, then stopped playing, and said he couldn't continue. He tried to start again, but stopped after a few notes. The producer came and started yelling at him. I was standing right between them. Prince said he couldn't perform because the curtain was jacked up, and it was the Producer's fault. He told her, "I could be doing a show in London right now and making money, but I'm here because of U, and it's all screwed up!" He walked away and the show continued. I left to get something from my house, and then couldn't get back quickly. In the time I was gone, both of my categories came up.
