exactly. it may seem like bullshit to you, but it obviously very important to them.

and look it from an outside perspective... many people probably think your problem is complete bullshit but have the decency to allow you your feelings. i can think one particular example of a VERY high profile orger who ranted about goodbye threads multiple times, and what was the first thing he did when he left?

a god-damned goodbye thread.

See that exasperates me!

it did me too, but i was good. i didn't say anything, but goodbye, and that i would miss him (and i do)

inside i wanted to scream at him for being a massive hypocrite.

and then joined in the massive group of people 0 star voting it for it's massive hypocritical nature

Agreed, I do come off as harsh at times, I apologize forthat.

hey..so do i...it took cborg to make me realize that...and thats why i really dont hang out at gd anymore...

for me (wrap that in a big ole IMHO) i come here to learn about other people...their views on life, politics, music, love and what not...but the GD forum has increasingly grown into a elementry school play ground..its all about "vote for the best" this... or "shout out to" that kinda threads...now, these threads are fine if your into that kinda thing but I have always made it a point to steer clear from em...inevitably your going to alienate some or make another feel left out...it also creates a false sense of community...and i think its this false sense that end up hurting peoples feelings...the minute someone says something critical or even negative.."gasp", people take it personal and run away...

besides, you arent really learning about people, your just rating popularity...some of the most interesting minds come from very low profile people...

but i digress...im just bored at work...what were we discussing anyways? lol

so...maybe when your feeling a lil down about the org...just hang out in another section till the storm blows over...

I say we should wish them well, express our love for them, and move on. Perhaps they may or may not come back... But at least they know they have love.

totally.

if they are moving on, then they know they are missed. if they need to feel loved then they are. i mean for gods sake, it's not like they are hurting anyone, and you can see goodbye threads coming a mile away. why click on it to begin with if it bothers oyu that much?

Y'see, all these negative assholes really piss me off, because I'm king of the smartass mutherfuckers. I love a good, friendly dig (whether at my expense or at anothers) because it can be a whole lot of fun. Unfortunately, some folks have to fuck that up by being just general pricks. This does me no good, because then I come in with my cocky little comments, and unitentionally hurt the feelings of someone that I actually think is cool. Normally, that person would have taken what I said as a joke (since almost everyone who knows me understands that I'm the Org equivilant of Triumph The Insult Dog), but because some dildo upset them, they suddently think I'm serious.

Folks, this place should be here for ENTERTAINMENT and friendly banter. If you wanna trade friendly barbs, I'm your guy, but keep your negative comments for mariah.org or some other pathetic site that contains losers who deserve your nastiness (I have no idea if such a site exists, but I think a Mariah message board is probably the place for a dillhole who like to upset people). Most of the folks here are truly cool, and don't need your bullshit. You're driving them away, and I don't like that. If you feel like you need a place to vent your frustration, start a friendly flaming thread like that Jedi dude did here recently. Everyone got to insult each other, and no one got their feelings hurt because it was all in fun.

Okay, that should be my last serious post for the year. I promise I'll try hard not to do it again!
