this insane negativity is getting out of control and people are starting to jump ship because of it. she orgnoted me too  i heard from her, too. we're losing people with great, grounded personalities and genuine concern for others. the point has been made before that people should just grow thicker skins - i think i like thin-skinned people, they tend to be more insightful.  Some people need to develop the skills to deal with the negativity that occurs here. Not saying that this is the only reason people leave and I'm certainly not saying my girl don't have skills. I know people have a life outside the org and sometimes you need to focus on your house for a while. But to leave because of some assholes stupidity? Come and get your hug on when you need it!!  I love my friends and hope that some of them who have left will return. I'll be here when they do i will say this that wether it is the role of the org or not to toughen the skin, it will by sheer osmosis alone teach one to take it all with a grain now mind you im still workin on it but im better i have become a lot more thick skinned about it, but it has also dimmed my enjoyment of this place a little, sadly. And I'm not saying that being thick skinned is the only response. People should be allowed to feel what they feel. But taking away positive presence and leaving the negative behind isn't going to make this a better place. Staying and connecting with the people you love will I have tended not to fight others battles, even though lord knows I'm ready to kick ass at the drop of a hat to protect the friends I love. I am always here for my friends when they need me. Always. People must take responsibility for their own outcomes. If one allows another to permeate their soul with negativity, then it is their own fault for giving up their power. In this place there have come and gone many a great person, it is cyclical..
