What process do you other tea drinkers go through when you make yourself a nice cuppa? This is how I make my tea...

1) put tea bag in cup
2) add boiling water
3) get spoon and move tea bag about, bringing flavour out
4) with spoon, squeeze teabag against the side of the cup
5) let it sit there for about 30 seconds
6) repeat teabag squeeze technique
7) add milk to taste
8) quick stir
9) add sugar to taste
10) good stir
11) remove any excess bubbles with spoon
12) Ahhh! enjoy!


How do you make yours?

Ew! No milk and no sugar... I use a little bit of lemon and some honey.

for my usual green tea:

near boiling water over bag in cup

swish around a little

cover for five minutes

squeeze bag by putting on spoon and then wrapping string around

take out bag and add honey in the morning or let the decaf be at nighttime.



i wanna start making it with fresh leaves, it's supposed to be healthier. will get one of those mechanisms soon.

I take the water off of the stove just before it hits a full on boil and then pour it into the tea cup. I let it sit there for a minute or so and then I remove the tea bag and add milk and honey. It tastes sooo good.

I put the friggin' cup in the microwave for two and a half minutes. Take it out, put the teabag in, put some sugar in. stir. Fuckin' voila.

Don't reboil the water. It says so on the box of teabags that I use.
