When someone says they don't do drugs or alcohol of any kind, where do you draw the line? I mean, caffeine is a drug. I cut out caffeine this year because I'm tired of what it does to me when I crash from it and I feel a lot better for it. And with alcohol, if you are a no-alcohol person, will you eat penne a la vodka? I'm serious! Would you? What about something made in a wine sauce?

I'm a vegetarian so I know a thing or two about having to draw lines and say "this is where I will compromise" so I would imagine that people who are really hardcore serious about being no-drug and no-alcohol have at least contemplated these thoughts - I'd just like to know how it is for people who are to substances as I am to animal flesh.

Nothings bad for you if done in moderation.

I have done just about everything except needles. Had a great time and alot of fond memories. I don't do drugs now, nor do i desire to again. But back in the day... I did it all :LOL:

I tried a cigarette when I was a kid. But I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. The last time I had any alcohol was about 8 years ago (wine). Although I was never enough of a drinker to even call myself a "casual" drinker, I've been advised by my doctor to not indulge in alcohol at all. It's cool. I didn't drink enough to miss it.

Never had any illegal drugs, and never had the urge. I'm way too much of an addictive personality, I could become addicted just like any other addict who thought it couldn't happen to them. Caffeine, eh...rarely.

But my vices have never been (illegal) drugs...although I do fancy a lifetime supply of Versed.

I've always was a curious child...I tried a lot of things (no needles or crack, though)

The cigarettes were Satan's Tools, though, man. They were only thing I ever got addicted to--and, damn, I'm lucky I found something that helped me quit after 13 years of smoking!!

I tried my mom's cigarettes maybe once or twice when I as a teenager. They were awful, and I never tried them again.

I tried marijuana twice -- first time (about 4 years ago) did absolutely nothing; second time (about 3 years ago) only made my Doritos taste good. It was pointless, and the interest is gone.

I drink wine or an occasional beer with dinner, but it's so infrequent that it's hardly worth mentioning, and I've never even been close to being buzzed.

Well, sad to say. I tried all that stuff. In fact I did not get to stop drinking or well stop having a funky good time. So to speak, until I was married in 2001. Cough, cough... But not anymore... I never was addicted too much... Maybe to some drankin at one time. But I stay chill now and have never felt better.
