well, that and fucking pop-up crap...
(that really fucks me right off too!)

At the moment I've got some fucking bastard 'home page' that
I don't want (and can't get rid of) and every so often while I'm
surfing, the web page that I'm looking at spontaneously
changes to some fucking shitty lame-assed porn site, complete
with an eruption of pop-ups so severe that I'm occasionally
forced to resort to turning off my computer to make it stop!

They should bring in the death penalty for the fuckers who
create this shit!

It sounds like a case of spyware. Try running 'Ad Aware' (AdAware? nore sure). It's free and has a good reputation for getting rid of all this junk. I've never had the problem so haven't used it myself.

I can't stand Spam, its so irritating and don't get me started on pop up ads !!!. I almost lost all my college work thanx 2 pop-up ads and some other crap which messed up my system registry. Luckily I managed 2 get in2 safe mode and clean the registry so every1 went back 2 normal. 4 that reason alone I can't stand pop-up ads, spam and all that other crap.

As 4 what u say Boris, delete ur history, cookies and temporary internet files and also go 2 Internet options and u should b able 2 type in a webaddress 2 have as ur home page.

Hope this helps u & every1 else who r affected by pop-up ads, spam etc. etc.

I am currently recieving spam email from fake companies which have their company information in them and they also claim 2 b from yahoo business site...any1 recieving this crap 2?!!!...

As me move into the digital world, so come the junkmail you used to get in your mailbox. It's all about adverstising and reaching as many people as you possibly can.

I'm a Mozilla convert too. To avoid spam you should try using the mail package in Mozilla (assuming you're using a POP mail account). It has an excellent anti-spam function that learns from what you indicate to be spam or not spam. So it improves over time, and now almost all my spam correctly goes straight into the spam folder. Mozilla is just a darn good (and safe) program!

As 4 email u say u get 200 spam emails a day, I'm sure there is a program that can filter email and delete spam.

Hope this helps as spam, popup ads, spyware et al really irritate me greatly.
