GOT COAL? How many of you have ever actually received a lump of coal for Christmas or have given it to somebody as a present? I've received it once and there's a few people I would like to send it to this year along with and a couple of them are orgers.

There's a Scottish tradition of giving coal on Hogmanay when first-footing.
It's meant to be a good thing. You should be grateful! I'd love me some coal.

Yes, I gave a friend a lump of coal (in a nice designer box) as a housewarming present.
Did the same to another friend with a peat briquette. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
