What a beautiful, enthralling movie. I wept, cheered & applauded at the end. How many movies can do that? Very few.

Can't wait to see Aragorn... he makes me sweat! batting eyes

Aragorn is hot...but i'm a Legolas gurl all the way!! he makes my panties shiver!!

anyway...the movie is excellent!! i cried most of the way through...probably from anticipation and trepidation that it is now over. it blew me away...i may be going to see it a 2nd time in the theatre tomorrow.

it was a lovely way to finish off the trilogy...just when you think its over it really isn't...half the theatre had their coats on and were standing when it wasn't yet finished because they thought the movie was done!!!

wink
you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel horny

Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.

Things to look forward to in the extended edition of
The Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King.

> the 7 minute wrap-up scene with Saruman at Isengard

> the face-off between Gandalf and the Witch King

> Merry pledging allegiance to King Theoden

> parlet with the Mouth Of Sauron at the Black Gate

> yet more stuff in the battle of Pelennor Fields

> Houses of Healing scene

> Frodo & Sam crossing the plains of Gororoth

.

MAN!!! Just the thought of all that cool stuff makes my head want to explode!!! I'm more excited about this than I am about Episode III!!!

Fuck Episode III. There is NO WAY it is going to be a good movie, sadly. I'm more excited about the prospect of you shitting down my throat twice than I am about seeing the further adventures of Plastic Anakin and Cardboard Kenobi etc.

I'm really looking forward to Episode III (and yes, I enjoyed
Episode II). I've got a pretty good idea about what happens
and I've got a very good feeling about it. It's gonna be
suprisingly dark for a Star Wars movie. They've even filmed
multiple versions of certain scenes cuz they want to keep as
much 'edge' as possible, and until it's finished they won't
know how much they can get away with without letting it go
over a PG rating.

From all the spoilers I've read (yes, I am a dork), Episode III sounds like a snoozer to me! Even Epsidoe II at least looked promising "on paper," and was (mostly) entertaining the first couple of times I saw it. But Ep III just sounds boring as fucking fuck so far. I hope I'm wrong...but Lucas hasn't given me much faith to rely on...

I just saw it last night and although it was all I had hoped, I too am looking forward to seeing all these parts. Peter Jackson had to take a lot out to get a reasonable running time. Even the heavily used clip in the trailer was missing (Eomer distraught on the battlefield, I presume at the sight of the fallen Theoden and Eowyn).

To answer KingSausages question I would guess that the confrontation with the Mouth of Sauron happens just before Aragorn says a tearful "For Frodo!". The forces of Sauron bluff that they have captured Frodo (they have his clothes from the orc tower) and Gandalf gallops up to The Mouth of Sauron and snatches them away. I would imagine from Aragorn's tears that they all think Frodo dead and...

Oh blimey I can't wait for the Extended edition.

biggrin
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.
