i want to marry myself a man of emotional and intellectual worth, settle down with him and adopt kids together, and i want to raise those kids as the stay at home parent. and when the kids are in school, i will devote my time to charitable causes.
it's silly, i know. i get a lot of flack for it, but all i want is the white picket fence dream. i want to be remembered as a parent, as a loving husband, and as a humanitarian. everything else - wealth, fame, prestige - is pretty much worthless to me. Good luck. not offended, it is a very difficult dream, only because i am gay, and therefore can't get married or adopt kids in most states. i suppose if i were heterosexual, it wouldn't even be a dream so much as just regular life. but because i live against the grain it becomes a very difficult to achieve dream.

I wanna work at a job related to the entertainment somehow (hopefully as a writer), make at least $50,000 a year and own my own home.
I wanna marry a woman who I'm compatible with and who is happy with me AS I AM...and in turn, I must be happy with her AS SHE IS. None of this, "I love you--now change" bullshit. I want two kids. What is the point of being remembered?
I personally couldn't give an Irishman's hat. You all think too much about the big picture when it's the little things that make the world spin round. Chaos Theory is reality. No-one matters. An ameoba is just as important as a human being...no-one's special enough to be hailed greater than the ecological system. The human arrogance of being 'remembered' or having a 'goal' physically disgusts me. It's about now. Now, now, now, now, now, now, NOW. Make love, take drugs, fuck yourself up, do all the things your parents told you to never do, smile, laugh, blow dandelions, roll in the grass, live every second like it's your last. Stop typing. Leave the house. Get on a bus to somewhere you've never been. Eat ice cream. Talk to children. Breathe deeply. Feel the oxygen enter your lungs and enjoy the exhileration of exhilation. LIVE! NOTHING MATTERS! YOU ARE GOING TO DIE SOON! YOURS IS A FINITE EXISTANCE! The next time someone flicks a switch that might be someone's 'soul' lighting up the room. We are electric.
