What athlete do you think is rated way too high? Maybe they just annoy you because of what they do. Maybe you're a Knicks fan and got tired of Jordan beating the crap out of you year after year in the 90's? hehe Maybe you couldn't stand the way John Elway looked with his car salesman smile? Tired of Derek Jeter Nike commercials? Are Canadian hockey players really better?

I might help out with a list.

Least favorite teams and players-

Basketball-
Knicks-Patrick EWWWing- Just was plain ugly and was a big injured cry baby for the last 5 or 6 seasons he played.
Lakers- Kobe and Karl Malone. They are my 2nd and 3rd least favorite players and now they're together? Malone has a 1 inch vertical and Kobe ... can't live up to the Jordan hype.

Football-
Broncos- John Elway annoyed me and I was happy when my 49ers beat the crap out of them in the Super Bowl.
Cowboys- I didn't like any of their 3 star players in the 90's. Now that we have Emmitt Smith here in Arizona it just gives me another reason to not go for the pathetic Cardinals. hehe

Baseball-
Yankees- They are all paid WAYYY too much $$$! Kobe Bryant and Derek Jeter I think have one big thing in common. They are both on legendary teams in big market cities. If they weren't, nobody would make such a big deal about them.

Hockey-
errr... Phoenix Coyotes because they suck and they're moving to a new arena that I as a taxpayer have to pay for. :+P I don't watch hockey enough to really dislike any of the players. I live in a desert!

i think the athlete in general is pretty overrated. after all, they're just athletes. they don't do anything actually worth a damn...

I like a lot of 'em, but the ones who suck are the ones who squander all that money on meaningless materialism, giving very little or nothing back to the community.

Instant fame followed, but predictably, did not last.

Plus, he looked like a complete berk.
