I have a calculus final tomorrow and I just have to say that I fucking hate this subject more than anything in the world. If I had a choice between having to eat only bread for an entire year or taking calculus again, I would choose eating only bread for a year. I would rather eat one of those nasty Fear Factor dinners than take Calculus. I cannot wait to take this fucking final and be done with this waste of time subject FOREVER!!!


Okay, now back to studying.

For a while in high school algebra kicked my ass until I got the hang of it, so I know I hate calculus just by how the word sounds (I don't even have to know what it's like): calculus.

Da horror.

Is this college level Calculus 1? Do you have to go on to college level Calculus 2 and 3 and Differential Equations?

Calculus 1 was the easiest. If you have to go on to Calc 2, that's when you need the good luck. That class is a bitch. Calc 3 is a breeze again and Dif. Eq. is worse than Calculus 2.

What about Physics? You have to take any of those classes?

Now you see why so many people get Sociology and Psych. degrees, they can't handle the math and physics. It takes a special breed.

I got through Calc with a b+ my freshman year. I dont even think i needed it for my BFA, i just took it to keep up on my math skills for the hell of it.

Then a couple years later I signed up for Calc 2 for the same reason, and ended up dropping it after 2 days of class. I had no idea what the hell they were talking about.

I feel ya, Im not one for any math courses.. even accounting sucks..

I also hated having a good grade in there, and then taking a dreadful final, that accumulates everything from the entire semester. That always fucks me up.. because I am all about learning NEW things in the course and pushing forward, I cant stand taking a review final..
