Today, I've been invited to a party on January 17th. A fancy dress party. I'm not going to back down. I just think I'll have to skip the boots because:- a) I think they'd be expensive, even more so for size 10 b) I've never worn high heels and at a party where drinks & drugs are likely to be consumed in large ammounts, doing something to interfere very severly with my balance. However, I'm resolved to do it. Anyone else dressed up as him? Any tips? I have and I wish I had a picture. It was at the Purple Rain concert in New Orleans on February 2, 1985. Yes, I remember the exact date and man was it cold. I had a seamstress (spelling?) make a pair of purple pleated baggy pants for me. Also had a pair of cheap black boots (for one night only), a black Bolero jacket (Like when he sang the Beautiful Ones), one purple lace glove and the other, a white lace glove and a purple laced sash to cover one of my eyes as I wrapped it around my head (Very Purple Rain Era). It was cool, although some people from high school couldn't believe it was me because I was so quiet during that time. That's the first and last time I did the "Prince Thing". Oh yeah, did I mention the mascara and the purple blush? GeSmi1 PS Funny part is that I wasn't the only one that went out like that. (hahaha) Baby, Baby, Baby...what's it going 2 b? | |

Well, I used to wear a "Purple Rain"-esque poet shirt when I used to perform Prince karaoke.
