My friend's mama just passed away...from cancer. She was only 55. The thing is, she didnt want to tell anyone...and now me and my girlfriends (we all went to skool together) have found out. I tried sending her a cheerin up thing on MSN but...she just went offline

Strange thing is...i didnt know her mum had passed away...and the Friday before the operation i dreamt i went with my friend and her mum to Spain (they're Spanish). The night i had the dream was the day she had her funeral, and apparantly she was gonna go to Spain...some interestin stuff there...but yeah...

Anyways, i felt awful...i wanna do sumfin...but i dunno what to do. Me and my friend want to send a sympathy card...but seein they were so private...i dunno if that would be welcomed. Any thoughts?

I'd say send the card, and then give you friend some time and space, it must be terrible to loose a parent at such a young age

I never know what to do in situations like this. I'm sure flowers are ok.

It is never awkward when you care about someone... Be honest, you found out her Mother passed on, and wanted to convey your sympathy..

She is probably home during this tough time..
