music as therapy? Has some song, album or artist helped you get through stuff that nobody else around you could've helped you with?
With that in mind: Can MUSIC be considered MEDICINE and the record store or file-sharing app the place where u get the cure for ur ills? (or possibly make you ill if you get the wrong medicine). Or is music just largely useless, superficial, benign stuff that does nothing more than entertain and/or annoy? Or worse, a dangerous diversion taking away the attention of more important things? Can it be both? With that in mind: How important is the right music reaching the people? (especially in this age of media consolidation) Very? Somewhat importnat? Not important at all? Discuss. | |
