Poor Old Saddam

i was hoping he'd be "the one that got away"

maybe it's because i hate the idea of coalition forces in a part of my ancestral homeland, maybe it's cause i loath the current white house administration, maybe it's cause saddam looks so much like my grandad...i cant put my finger on it.

come on, it's not as if he was the most evil man on the planet, just look at Saruman - he is eeevil

so saddam, if u ever get the chance to read this (which i doubt, i dont think he's into Prince) ...my thoughts are with you pray

may coalition forces continue to pay the ultimate price...

I respect your honesty and can understand and agree with some of your feelings, but you are asking for nothing but trouble posting those feelings in that manner here. There are people who will be at your throat constantly now. So be prepared.

I know what you mean, though I wouldn't put it the way you did. I have a weak spot for the anti-hero myself, especially when the hero isn't really such a hero after all. But some people like to think in black and white, it makes this situation for them easier to deal with.

Now all they need to do is find those weapons of mass destruction. lol

He does look like a loveable old goat.
Despite the prevailant and recurrent torture, rape and murder of his people, I still think he'd be a good laugh at a party - and that's all that matters really.
And don't get me started on the old Bin Laden is Jesus Christ thing...we all know the Twin Towers are just the tables in the Galilee marketplace. The new New Testament is being written.
Peace to my homeboys who didn't make it through and are now chillin' and pimpin' in the ghetto in the sky.

To put it that is just as unfair as me saying you have a weak spot for the people who went to war on false grounds and who continue to violate international laws, agreements and human rights. People seem to have such a simplistic view on complex issues, such a shame really.

I have absolutely no sympathy for him whatsoever...and I'm one of the people who was staunchly against our even going to Iraq in the first place. He did horrible, horrible, things to his own people. Maybe now that he's gone, the Iraqi people can get on with life.

Saddam may be a wicked man, but come on...the Prime Ministers of Britain, America AND my hometown of Australia all ought to be executed before we even think about Saddam or Osama. F*ck commercial media for trying to make us believe otherwise.

Let me state that from what i have heard i have no love for Saddam. But again that is from what i have heard in the U.S. I know all too well how words are used in the U.S to get the result they wanted. They talk about the gas Saddam used , but never say who gave it to him and how we turned a blind eye until we got upset with him. And the war isn't over because we have not found the weapons of mass destruction.

The thang is, back home in America, the people are TRUELY blind about what happens and that becoz of the hypocrite media becoz they show ONE side of the story and hide the MOST important part(which is the ugly side of the story).

I'm right now working in University in Qatar(a country near Iraq) and they show how's the living day-by-day in that country and please believe that its not good.

Nothing changed, Saddam OUT, Americans IN. The folks over there get humilated day after day after day, what used to happen with white folks against black is ON AGAIN but its against those poor folks. But CNN, CBS and ABC are telling you that Iraqi folks are fine and living well but they're not.

Its not a war about PEACE like you think,,,its al about George Bush stealing that Oil cuz his economy went down the hill after the 9/11 thang.

Its a shame really,,,the outside policy of US is really disgusting which is no wonder why we're so HATED but the inside policy is like HYPNOTISUM, you don't know whats really going on in the world and you wonder why overseas folks hate yo ass but once you pay attention you'll realize that the MAIN reason why you're hated is becoz of the BIG BOSS(Presidents).

So as far as Iraqi folks,,,ain't nothing changed, they're still hustling to survive. Saddamn being caugh won't change the fact that Iraqi folks are still on the struggle.

What exactly is Saddam's crime? Resisting illegal occupation? His crimes have been well known and tolerated for years and no arrest attempts were ever made. Hardly the same as catching Bin-Laden. Probably just one of his lookalikes anyway. smile

Are U working at the university as a groundskeeper? Otherwise U show that educated people really aren't that bright...Nothings changed since Saddam's ouster???Are U at ground level living in Iraq...I've been there and I have friends over there---yes, some worry that the US has sinister plans being in Iraq but most are Extremly grateful that Saddam is gone and now captured...I usually don't flame but my friend, YOU are talking out of your butt...A few evil men/women in Iraq do not represent the real people.
Aloha and I do hope that U are safe in Qatar and return home safe...
