The best thing to do is burn down the house and claim EVERYTHING on the insurance! Hey presto - Carpets without candle wax and a brand new house. Mind you, it's hard to light candles after I've finished with them! | |

 Not a good idea, since I live in an apartment style condo, and I have people living below me, next to me, and across from me. It would not be too cool to burn the place down and make everybody homeless (not to mention highly pissed off at me).  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

Thanks, Muse, I think I will, if the iron doesn't work.  Ok, but I would do it first! The heat will force what doesnt come up further in and flater ! The ice will freeze and then you can pull most out... If you pull the carpet, you are in danger of damaging the pile, iron is best IMO | |
