Mick Jagger the Actor I love Mick Jagger the actor. He's aged well.
I just saw The Man from Elysian Fields where Jagger plays the head of this exclusive escort service that caters to wealthy women. Steals the movie, even outperforming James Coburn. Jagger was also good in Ned Kelly, way back when. I own Performance but have never watched it. I may have to do that next. I love Memo from Turner. What else has he been in? Any other Jagger fans?

Wasn't he in some sci fi movie in the eighties? Not escape from New York, but something like that?

Flashback.
He was as much of a joke in that as he is now in the Rolling Stones.

Anyway, what the hell is wrong with Mick Jagger in the stones now???

He was knighted, so he's now known as Sir Mick. I think Mr 2the9s needs to ammend his thread accordingly

Performance was a TRIP!! It's not worth owning--it's VERY pretentious at times--but is DEFINITELY a unique film. Plus, you get to see Anita Pallenberg injected smack into her ass...which is nice. Jagger is actually a good actor (much like David Bowie). I HATED "Freejack" and "Ned Kelly" but "Performance" was a GREAT role for him. And agreed--"Memo For Turner" is an overlooked Stones classic. It's hilarious hearing the bisexual Jagger (whether he'll admit it or not) saying the term "faggy little leather boy"
