ROSEANNE appreciation thread........(yeah, that's right!) Big ups to Roseanne...one of the funniest women on the face of the earth. Luv her!!  I swear, I could watch a whole damn 24 hrs of Roseanne reruns and I'd still want more

The episode where they smoke pot in the bathroom has to be one of the funniest things I have EVER seen on TV!

the show was probably one of the best sitcoms in history, till the last few seasons when it got bad. one of the only shows about the working class that didn't belittle the audience that it represented.
it was the everyman's sitcom. a way of seeing your own dysfunctional life on the screen and finding good in it, cause although they were very dysfunctional, they loved one another deeply. great show. i keep praying they will put it out on DVD season by season. Yeah, when that show rocked, it ROCKED. It's probably the only show I was able to watch and laugh WITH and say "holy crap, I've BEEN these people." And that she was able to sneak in progressive ideas while staying perfectly within the Bible Belt Midwestern down-home-folks attitude was nothing short of brilliant.

Roseanne was hilarious. Her new "reality" show which was on this year for all of two episodes was also good.
That whole Star Spangled Banner thing was unnecessary  and it's the only time I didn't like her. | |

I love Roseanne. It was on last night and DJ had drawn a picture of his family with Darlene missing. So, when Roseanna asked where she was, DJ showed Roseanne a flowerbed. He said it was Darlene's grave.  Their Halloween shows were classics, too. | |
