I have heard from Judd Apatow one of the creators of the TV Show that "probably April 2004" is the release date on the dvd!

* This dvd is going to be loaded!!

Here is what I know is going to be on it:

* 25 Commentary Tracks (w/ cast,crew & fans)
* ALL the Original Music!
* Photos
* Interviews w/ cast & crew

This is what I pieced together from his posts on his offical site

I think the BEST thing is all the original music will be on there! They were having a problem with record companies wanting to charge allot of money! BUT at the end of the day ALL those signatures on his site helped.. and from what Judd has said.. everything went fine!

The Commentary Tracks are going to be fun! He said he has sooo much fun seeing everyone again and just talking about the show! They are also going to talk about where each character was going to go eventually IF the show wasn't cancelled.. PLUS a ton more!! I mean they only had 18 Episodes BUT Judd said on his site they did 25 Commentary Tracks.. He did say he let some of the fans sit in and do a few of them with them .. sooo thats very different & cool

thank god, because i don't think i could tolerate another year going by that i had people continually sending me emails asking me to sign a petition to get Freaks & Geeks released on DVD.
