Is It Funny? When Will It Be Funny? i was watching an episode of SouthPark, the "Aides / AIDS" episode and was wondering what you would consider the
appropriate lag time before tragic events can be laughed at? apparently it's 22.3 years (this was actually based on a psyc. paper, i'm surprised SP actually they went the length). so, what tragic events could you poke fun at? i guess it's safe to say the expulsion of the Israelites by the Egyptians and the massacring of Christians by the Romans can be laughed at? it's been well over 22.3 years. but it's not until 2023 we can laugh at the events of 9/11 without being branded a terrorist or just a nutcase? | |
