I don’t think I have ever been hurt so badly before. Someone who I trusted to support me and promote my best interests just double-crossed me in such an underhanded way. I really feel betrayed. I think this is the most evil thing anyone has ever done to me.

Some people dont think before they act. They cant see that it might hurt someone...
Do you think this might be the case...? If so it might be worth while talking to them especially if they mean a lot to you...

There is one thing that's always dependable... people will always let you down.

My fooking boss, of all people, my mentor and friend for the last 8 years who started me on the rocky road into my career. Now it appears I am a threat so he is stabbing me in the back. I can't get my head round it.

me too, not to take away from your experience, but know there are more of us that are empathetic to your feelings because we have been there, or are there ourselves.

Understand that what goes around really does come around. It's a fact, I've seen it more times than I can count.

In business, the weasels and scumbags (like your friend) can only hide behind bullshit for so long beforetheir actions speak for them.

Then reach for the positive.

If you are truely a threat, it's because you are doing what you do well. People that take pride in their work and don't let half-ass work happen on their watch will always have a job. Employers see it and so does everyone who counts on you (at work or in life).

Feel better and learn from this.

Alot of people who usually backstabs U are usually your best-freinds, no doubt!! I've been betrayed lots of times and get hurt. But What U should do is really talk 2 the one who betrayed U and and tell them that U been hurt by their actions. Hope U fell better.

If he did this, he was never your friend to begin with. I know what it's like to be stabbed in the back and I know that it hurts like hell. He's an ass no doubt, but like someone said earlier what goes around comes around. Get what you need from him like that recommendation and then drop him. You don't need people like him in your life. No one does.
