I bought some French Vanilla flavored oatmeal today, for no other reason than I don't really like oatmeal but I know it's good for me. I figured this would get me to eat it.

It was good. You know?

And then later it struck me just how much the world is being overrun by French Vanilla: French vanilla ice cream, French vanilla cake, French vanilla cookies, French vanilla this, French vanilla that. Just put the phrase "French vanilla" in front of any piece of shit and it will move off the shelves like there was a hurricane!

What is this stuff anyway? What makes this vanilla French?

Then I asked myself if I would ever eat a French vanilla hotdog and I didn't have an answer...

I seriously think I saw French vanilla motor oil at my gas station the other day.

Things have gotta change.
