CREATURE FEATURES Who here remembers Creature Features? it was a late night show that use to come on every Saturday night back in the mid and late 70's, I cant remember the hosts name but do remember that he use to wear these big bi-focals. It was great cause they use to show all the old horror films such as Night Of The Living Dead and lots and lots of Godzilla movies. I use to look forward to every Saturday night, use to make my Jiffy Pop Popcorn, some of you might remember the kind, the kind where ya use to shake it and shake it over the stove and watch the silver foil rise Oh the memories.

I remember. It was a big event on my block right after the roller derby. We used to go to the corner tavern (yeah, the tavern) and buy a bag of bbq chips and can of pop for 25 cents...those were the good ole days.

Used to love "Theatre Of The Macabre" In Omaha. I only lived in the God-forsaken state of Nebraska for a couple of years, but I always enjoyed this program. They ran all the classic Universal Monster movies, as well as classic Hammer films and others. The host, Macabra, was this deadpan variation of Vampira (the lady that Elvira took her act from), and was always hilarious. Her straightforward delivery, while introducing such masterpieces as "The Deadly Mantis" was hysterical!!
