You guys forgot the adobo. It's chicken or beef marinated ( I forgot the recipe) in a sauce. It's great with rice. Too bad I went vegetarian, it's the only thing I miss about meat. Damn you guys made me homesick. touched

I've been eating that for years (my mother makes it) and did't know it was a Philipino dish. Heck yeah, it's good.

Kamusta? hehe

errr... it's pancit. I like Pancit Canton best sprinkled with calamansi(local lime juice). Ube ice cream is GREAT too!!! Anybody here actually eat Filipino food in the Philippines? hehe I like going to Chow King for fast Filipino food. Oh, I do like Lechon Kawali a LOT too. Umm... my favorite type of lumpia is Lumpia Shanghai. Oh, the only thing I am not too crazy about is Filipino Spaghetti. I'd rather have LOVE Italian style spaghetti. Other than that the only thing I stay away from maybe is the soups... "pork blood" and "ducks egg". hehe Ummm...flan is good too but I really consider that more of a Spanish dish. Other than that the fruit in the Phils is a lot better(maybe fresher) I think, bananas and mangos ROCK! Especially friend bananas in a lumpia wrapper covered in sugar. :+) (I'm gonna go grab some Luck Mei generic pancit canton noodles now) :+) Take care everybody!

P.S. I was born and reared in the US. I just have some family ties there. :+)
