You and your wife are probably one of those white couples who are amazingly condescending as hell to children of color and speak to them in baby talk, and in loud tones, like they're stupid and deaf. You probably puff out your chest in pride at what you've done (although you got a GRANT to take them out to dinner, big guy, so nothing came out of your own pocket) and you probably tell your friends in loud, serious tones about how awful these kids were BEFORE you came into their lives.

What can I tell ya...I appreciated chemmie for hanging in there as long as he did, unwanted, unloved, unwelcome. Amazing. I wonder if he's a masochist sometimes. It was nice to have some Libertarian backup on the political scene, back when I posted a lot. Not surprisingly, I caught a lot of crap just for associating with him, but that's how it goes sometimes.

Chemmie's no saint, that's true...but then neither are any of you. Not even close.
