After watching repeat episodes of Seinfeld again recently I can say without a doubt in my mind that George Costanza is the best character in any sitcom ever.

He is despicable and hilarious.

I love that show. Love it!

I recently saw Jerry Seinfeld in concert, he was fantastic! His act was well over an hour long... that's an hour of funny ass observations! It made me remember how much I enjoyed his show, and who for... Jerry.

The cast was one of a kind. Kramer, Elaine, George and Jerry. The others... Newman, George's Dad & Mom, Jerry's Dad & Mon, etc.

I keep hoping he'll get back into something on tv. Or maybe a "Return To Seinfeld" show, or something...

If you ever get the chance, check out Jerry in concert... funny, funny shit.

It was the chemistry of the ensemble that made it all work.

They played off of each other as well as any sitcom cast did.

Syndication has made Jerry an even more loaded dude than he was during the show's production.

As creators of the show, Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David made over 200 million each - selling the show into syndication. That's a lot of money for "nothing"!

Have any of you seen this show?

I think it kills Seinfeld, but it showing on cable gives it the edge.

The main character (Larry David) in this show was one of the main writers for Seinfled.

Julia was also a cast member of the show "Fridays" where she worked with Michael Richards and Larry David.

More interesting than that... she's the daughter of Gerard Louis-Dreyfus, french billionaire!

Oh yeah, and Julia's grandfather, Pierre Louis-Dreyfus, was a member of the French Reisistance during WWII, and flew 88 missions for Charles de Gaulle's Free French Air Force!!!



Oh, and she was Elaine Benes... the only cast member not to appear in the pilot episode, her character was created later!

She was, however, very good in the movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase.

She played the snobby neighbor next door.

Remember when Clark cut the tree rope and all the branches flew out the windows... right into the neighbor's house with the sap everywhere?!? Classic scene!!!

Love Seinfeld and I never get sick of the re-runs, even when I know how the episode's going to end. It was running recently in Singapore at midnight, and made a really nice end to the day

The last episode they showed was the pilot. That weirded me out because they were all so different. If I remember correctly some of George and Jerry's character traits were reversed?

One of my favs is the toupee episode when Elaine pulls his toupee of his head and throws it out the window of Jerry's apartment

The end of Seinfeld was also the end of great sitcoms. Sad but true.

Seinfeld was an amazing show and all the characters were great. I completly agree that George is one of the greatest ever! Do you believe he never won an emmy for that show. He should've though.
