Try Stella Artois, Corona, Becks, Bavaria, Hollandia, Dortmunder, James Boag Premium, Cascade Premium Lager... There's too many to mention. Stay away from the crappy US beers which mostly taste like watered down piss. Cheers Let me say after drinking beers with bkw last Saturday, I've decided I need to get into training before our next session. Add James Squires to the list, but stick away from India Pale Ale which tastes like spiced up Indian piss. I have been in beer drinking training for years! It was great fun catching up with you! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

In a couple of hundred years historians may discover that Prince's lyrics were written by Christopher Marlowe.

When do I ad the oatmeal? Thanks again Paul says that you do top it off to 5 gallons (forgot this was his "shorthand" recipe). add the oatmeal with the other grains and steep for 1/2 hour at 155 to 165 degree water. remove the grains before adding the DME, and then start boil. (i'm only acting as if i know wtf you guys are talking about here - i just know it tastes great!) btw, you'd love his setup - he does 10 gallon batches and puts them in 5-gallon Cornelius kegs and then in a chest freezer with a double tap... easy access! he was wondering - do you have any recipes you can share with him? he says he only does extracts and only brews ales. (guess that would make sense to you!)

onward. I am a fan of the Dunkelweizen. Spaten (as you said) and Tucher both make a great Dunkelweizen. But a chunk of Orange in it for the ladies, they will love it. Have you ever tried Hoegaarden White? Also a good choice. If you ever come to the Atlanta area, come to Summits Wayside Tavern. Over 100 beers on tap. The place came straight from the heavens. Correction: Newcastle Brown Ale

Ale :
Tanglefoot Crippledick Old Fart Speckled Hen and of course the previously mentioned and ever-delicious Boddingtons Lager : Any lager providing it meets the following criteria : Contains at least 5% alcohol Is not Budwater, Fosters, or Harp Does not have 'Light', 'Lite', or 'Ice' in the name Is cheap I seem to drink mainly Hackenburg (pils) as it meets all my criteria and has the best alcohol content/price ratio There was one I used to drink in Denver, damned if I can remember the name (it might been one of the Boulder brews), served in a pint mug with a slice of lemon in it (looks like a fried egg), lovely stuff. Stout : Guinness ( when it's good, 0/ when it's slimy grey water) Darcy's London Pride Winter Warmer (ok, it's technically not a stout, but you can walk across it). Wheat Beer : Hmmm. For reasons of health, sanity and career I don't drink wheat beer anymore. Anyone who's had a 6-Erdinger hangover on a Monday morning will know what I'm talking about. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. (guess that would make sense to you!) That is a dream setup. Later I will dig out my recepies for Pale ale and reguler stout, thay are simple recepies but come out excellent. thanks again, I will probably try this after chistmas. Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there
