PrintableWhen i was a kid my mum entered my photos all the time on this 80s kids cartoon show here in OZ called "The Cartoon Company" where they had this comp for this wheel called the "kidz biz wheel" this is pretty sad actually...lol!!! Cause i won a few lil prizes...and a few autographed pics of OZ 80s tv show hosts LMAO...i thought it was cool at the time...but i've actually found them...and they're quite scary!!! :OMFG:

I got an e-mail from Rhonda Smith acknowledging my music...
and I got an e-mail from British porn star Cathy Barry about doing some theme music work. the rest I meet in person whenever possible. I got a thank you letter from Prince Charles after donating some money to charity when I was 9 but it looked like it was pre-generated so I'm not sure if it counts or not. Its cool that Lionel Richie took the time 2 write 2 u. Its a shame that other famous people/celebrities can't b bothered 2 write back 2 their fans. Perhaps they r 2 famous 2 write letters or type them on a computer keyboard, who knows? If I was famous I'd try & write back 2 every fan who wrote 2 me (only the nice letters of course  ) as without fans celebrities r well...ordinary people. Sometimes their egos become 2 big that they think they r more important than any1 else, which they aren't. Some even charge 4 autographs,

Ok, seriously, I had some e-mail back-n-forth with BedEyeScream back in the day, though I hear that wasn't uncommon, and I've also heard conflicting reports on who this actually was...it was a fairly breezy enough (and brief) correspondence, though it was about psychology. I have no reason to not believe it was who I thought it was, though at the time I didn't feel star-struck at all as much as I felt "gee, isn't the Internet a cozy thing", ha...
And then I got an e-mail from another of my big favorites when I moved from NYC and wrote a poem about falling out of love with the Big Apple...the person e-mailed back with a brief coupla lines, but it might as well have been the ten commandments handed down to me on stone slabs as excited as I was by the response. | |
