God, how i missed Tarantino

I saw Kill Bill yesterday, what a fucking great movie.
Can't wait to see volume 2.
I hope his next film won't take as long as this one to arrive on our screens.
The man is truly a genius.

You won't have to wait long. Parts I and II are simply two halves of one long feature, so the final installment is already made.

I've heard the release will be sometime in early 2004.

Kill Bill, Vol 2 is due out in Feb. After that, Tarantino's probably going to do his WWII movie that he's had written forever.

Ohhh. Somehow I think it'll be another big wait. Tarrantino seems to take a lot of time picking a project. And given all the things he packs into a film, production alone will take forever.

A friend of mine knows Quentin, and he actually had the script for his War flick done before Kill Bill. He almost went ahead and did it when Uma got pregnant, but KB had already been greenlit, and there was already pre-production done on it. Actually, I heard him talk about this script back in 1999, when I met him at the QTIII festival in Austin. At that time, he was still working on it. It is my understanding that the script is done at this point. Whether he actually decides to go ahead and film it is another matter.

Kill Bill got off to a great start..

Awesome movie until the last 40 minutes where the endless repetition of the same stunts got more and more boring by the second.

By the end I felt like I had seen just another SOMAF

(Same Old Martial Arts Flic) and a costly high production one at that.
