Does anybody have any ideals of how to publish a book?

write it, send it to me, if it's any good you'll know about it when you see me being chauffeur driven in a Maybach

the best thing to do is start by writing a book.

Buy a book called 'The writers hand book' or 'The writers guide book' (something along those lines, I'll find out at work tomorrow.

It contains a list of several publishers and the types of books they print. ie, If U write a fictional horror novel or a biography it will tell you the best places to take it.

Also a new edition comes out each year so it's pretty up to date.

There are also companies that bind and register your book with an ISBN at your cost so U can then sell it independently. (I’ll get U some details)

buy the 'writer's market online', updated every year

research and cross-reference the publishers who buy books like yours

send a query letter to the publisher/editor

if they respond and ask for more information send them whatever portion of your manuscript they want in the format they require

wait several months for the letter from the publisher/editor asking for the rest of the manuscript.

wait several months for the telephone call from the publisher/editor accepting the manuscript
