Me too. I used to get quite upset whenever I got some lame cheap shit in return for my expensive thoughtful gifts. Now I don't. I mean, I want to buy people something nice and I want them to have a nice christmas eve, even if that does mean dishing out some more 'scrilla'
Besides, whenever I get something really cheap in return from someone I just say to myself "hmm, don't worry, this will get me one step closer to my backstage pass in heaven whilst they will only be awarded arena seats". Although, I don't think they're keeping a list of christmas giving moderation up there and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
