I once saw someone die as well...it's a jarring experience. sad

I was in the grocery store, and an elderly woman was walking in front of me...when she suddenly just collapsed. Her groceries (what few she had been carrying) went scattering, and she just laid there, completely still. A worker from the back saw it, too (we were the only ones to see her body give out on her), and came out to check her...a few other shoppers soon turned the corner and saw the scene taking place, and just stopped and watched. I told one man what happened while the store worker called 911...

I started gathering the woman's groceries for her, I guess thinking that she was going to be ok...but when I started placing her items somewhat close to her, I was close enough to see she wasn't breathing...and her face just "stared"...*sigh*...I knelt for a moment and just looked at her. It effected me profoundly to realize I had just watched this soul take her very last breath and leave the physical world rose...When the paramedics arrived, they opened her blouse and started checking on her heart and doing something (can't remember) to her chest...I left at that moment, and said a silent prayer for her.

I'm crying just imagining it rose

I've never witnessed a person die. I suppose there are few things more natural, but that's just such an intimate moment that I don't think I'd handle it well.

If it's any consolation. I can only think it would be comforting to spend one's last moments on earth in the company of good people.

You have a very pleasant soul, and to that extent, this woman was blessed to have you closeby at her departure.

Hello Cloudy hug

hug Hey you, don't let it bug you babe. It's just one of life's many horrors. You'll be okay. wink

I didnt bug me, just it is annoying that these things happen and ppl dont give a shit sigh

Sometimes people just don't know what to do. And some people don't want to help because of the letigious climate created by filthy lawyers who convince people to sue those who actually have only tried to help the person but through their lack of medical knowledge may have aggravated the situation.....OK i just read through the entire thread and see you are in China. The litigation part is common here in the US. Sad but true.

I saw someone die in a car crash once and it's a horrible feeling. I'm sorry you had to experience this red hug

I shave as well. You will do that too... once the hair starts growing in your face. But that might take another few years.
