Hockey

I just played my first game yesterday and it was a lot of fun. Granted it was indoor hockey and it was against a group of elementary school kids (made a hat trick btw smile ), but I never realized how much fun it is. Maybe I'll catch a couple of Caps games in the future. hmmm

Does field hockey has the same rules as ice hockey? Maybe that's something the kids could do at the school. Great suggestion. Is it comparable to lacrosse?

Oh and can a person get called for high sticking (I hope that's the right term) even if they're taking a shot (like a slap shot)? Is the stick ever allowed above the waist when taking a shot or on defense?

I used to go to Caps games all the time. Havent been to a game here in Atlanta yet though. Hockey is great to watch live. But if you dont know a lot about it, it could get a little confusing. Its a fun sport to play too. I used to play Dek-Hockey which is just Hockey on your feet. It was great fun. We had a big place to play right down the road in high school. good times.

smile But I live close to the MCI center. I have to work with what I got. At least it gives me an excuse to go there. I wouldn't go to watch the Wizards. They're not too popular here or anywhere else from what I gather. At least the Caps are competitive.
