The lunch was a blast. We ended up hanging out in a sports bar, which was not very conducive to conversation but it was fun nonetheless. It was so loud that we couldn't really have group conversations, rather they were smaller one on one conversations, which actually were cool because it got people to know each other better.

Here's the low down on the peeps:

DMSRHotWitU - Angela is not on the org much but she is the first person in LA I met through the org. She introduced me to the LA crew which is now known as the Bumpsquad. I'm real tight with the people in this group. They are my family

DexMSR - This is one tall dude! Probably around 6'6". He's way cool. He's a teacher and teaches about 10 miles from where I work.

Pej-He wasn't pimped out BUT he did have a purple pimpfeather in his hat! He is very cool. And it's a french "J" not a hard J in his name

Chico319 - Swoooning...Oh My God. What a beautiful man. He doesn't think so but let me tell you, I know a hottie when I meet one. He is very intriguing. Kinda on the quieter side but you can tell he's deep and real intense. I can't wait to get to know him better. Too damn bad he's not fuckin gay!!

VinaBlue - Just as sweet in person as she is on the Org. I was so happy to meet her. Been knowing her on the org for a couple years.

Muse2NoPharoah - This girl was a fuckin trip. And no, she aint Icenine I remember hearing those rumors but kinda forgot about them until the lunch. So she is a real person and is the same person in her profile

JanFriend - I was real glad she showed up. She and I have had words. Not bad words but we are diametrically opposed in certain areas. I think some of her views are pretty out there. HOWEVER, she was so fuckin cool. Her personality is infectious and she's a lot of fun. It was funny cuz she showed up and Pej was like "You're black?! You write so white!". It was pretty funny

RayRay17 - Nobody really knew who this guy was. I'd say he's a lurker. He created his account in April 2002 and has a whopping 4 posts. He was cool too.

Overall it was a very successful lunch. Byron couldn't make it but we might hook up later in the week. I can't WAIT to meet him. I have known him from the days of the Purple and Black. I think we go back about 5 years.

It's funny cuz I had no idea until Chico invited me to lunch that I lived near all these cool people! I thought that Chico lived in Spain so I was totally surprised to find out he lives in the county below where I live. I swear I cannot even begin to tell you how much of a doll he is.

As soon as I get my camera situation all figured out, I will be posting my pictures...most of which I look way better than that first shot!!!

Vina I've known, and I've meet Pej once before. But
I can't remember the last time I was in a group of such, loving, caring, and giving individuals. LatinaAngel was on the phone with us for a brief moment and made the occassion that much more special. Supa, thanks for the gifts! FreeSpirit I'll see you and, next weekend. Hope we all can make it again.Not saying this to kiss anyone's ass or act as if I had to like them for showing up. I honestly mean it when I say, I would LOVE to and in fact looking forward to meeting all of you again. (Next Weekend maybe ) This should be a monthly get together. Jokes, laughter, music, food, and friendship and if I may add Love 4 1 another. I feel priviledged and blessed to have been able to meet you all. Thanks again. Next time we MUST go out and shake our arses!!! I suppose a thanks should go out to the man himself for it was his music that brought us together. (try not to vomit. :LOL:)

It's great meeting up with yopur fellow orgers isn't it. i know from recent experiences that it never fails to dissapoint. People are every bit as cool as they are on-line, especially after they relax a little.

But in no way did I discourage him or anyone else from attending, nor did I say not to expect too much or that people wouldn't be what they seemed. In fact, I encouraged as many people to attend as possible, including rdhull.

Just wanted to be clear about that, in case I was pinpointed as the "negative" boogeyman here.
