Celebrity deaths 2003

MANY celebrities have passed away this year, more so than in previous years; or so it seems. Could it just be that the media is simply covering them more?

well if you look at the popularity of television, movies and music over the past 50 years you will see that there are many more high profile names that can potentially pass away. imagine when we are old and every single person who was ever in a movie or had a song dies. there will be a new one every hour.

"Today Jim Smith died. He played the guy who stole the car in "Dude Where's My Car". His career died after that."
"I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum"
"Giving leaders enough power to create "social justice" is giving them enough power to destroy all justice, all freedom, and all human dignity." - Thomas Sowell

Seems like a lot of older people died in the summer. Maybe the heat had an impact. I don't know if global warming is still getting worse or better, but if it's getting hotter every summer, perhaps it's aggravating heart conditions somehow (stroke, etc?). What did all those people tend to die from?
