alright...i have thought alot about this...and i have come to the decision that if i start this...maybe you all will follow me in our quest to find the real you...


this is me...as much as i can share...


my name is kelley..my middle name is lynn, so when im in trouble...my mother calls me kelley lynn that makes my bones shake

i am 32 years old..but only for a minute

i have 3 children...i gave a baby girl up for adoption when i was 19 years old..the hardest thing i have ever done in my life. i get pictures and letters every year from her adoptive mother. i have a tattoo on my chest...its a small heart with all my babies names around it and hers is included...she is very much still in my thoughts on a daily basis.

my biggest fear in life is a cross between being alone and dying ...but...not so much the dying part - only because i have babies here that depend on me ...and leaving them would be the hardest thing i could imagine.

the things that make me most happy in life (besides my babies) is seeing others happy...i love to laugh, and make people laugh...i think there is nothing better than a night of belly laughin with your family and friends around.

i cant stand to see suffering of any kind. to see someone crying just breaks my heart. i cant watch many history movies...because i think our history has been so cruel. i actually walked out of my 7th grade history class as they were showing a film that reflected slavery times and i told the teacher he couldnt make me watch it. (im also a bit mouthy at times )

my dream in life is to have happy successful babies and live my life out with a man that loves me as much as i love him... however ...i am not getting any younger...so that better hurry up

i am a very passionate person, in most ways i can think of. when there is something i believe in...i will fight till the end to support it.

the things i wish i could change in my life are -

1.) the relationship i had with my dad. i wish that he was still alive today so i could talk to him about it and ask the many questions i have. it seems many times that i am 'fighting a ghost' if you understand that at all.

2.) the way i see myself...i wish i had more confidence in who i am and didnt pay so much attention to the 'old voices' in my life

3.) i would like to have more 'drive' in life...i know i could do so much...well i guess that goes along with the other...

the thing that makes me most sad...

its crazy, and i hope you understand what i am saying...but i have never really felt like i belong to anything in life. you know ...like had a 'place'. i hope to change that as my life goes on...i think thats an important thing.




lets see...

i consider myself a great friend to those who know me...as i would do anything to protect the people i love. and i am always there to try and make others feel better about themselves.

i love mexican food...probably a bit too much

i like old R&B music, prince, and new country...i know...its a hell of a mix

my favorite color is orange..and then red...followed by probably green.

i prefer puppies to kittens.

and i love the outdoors.




my hope in doing this...and the things i have shared with you is that you will tell us something about you that maybe we didnt know...and then we can all get a little closer

and...please be nice !!

I think this is a great idea for a thread.

My first name is Simon and my middle name is George but all my friends call me Ned. I'm 28 and live in the North of England in a little town called Huddersfield. I live in a beautiful big flat with a couple of mates I went to college with back in '92. The flat above us is occupied by a couple who were also mates with us since '92 and the flat below is occupied by the brother of one of my flatmates. I used to work in the ground floor flat long before I moved in so I know quite a few of the other neighbours too.

I'm single with no kids. Well, the last bit ain't strictly true. A few years ago, I was a sperm doner. So they're out there but we'll never meet which is very weird. Still, at least I know I'm firing right.

I get on really well with my parents now but when I was younger & lived at home with them they went through some rough times which caused our relationships with each other to do the same. I had 2 brothers but 1 died 11 years ago. The other has a bit of a chip on his shoulder & lives down South. He only comes up about once a year and I have to keep things cool between him & my Mum (they're like a pair of kids).

I'm very lucky to have a job I love, working for a what's on guide called Alive. I don't like the selling advertising bit of the job, but I love the journalism side and doing the listings. We're over at http://www.alive.co.uk. Another thing I love about my job is that it's just over the road from my flat, so it takes me 5 minutes to get to work. The pay is not amazing, but luckily the deal I got on the flat is and I get lots of freebies from work, so I think it all balances nicely.

Amongst my many pleasures in life are music (every genre), Shakespeare, Prince, Woody Allen, Astronomy, boozing, going to see bands, going clubbing (house, hip hop, funk), poetry (Shelley, Blake, Elliot, Larkin, Auden), DJ'ing (I play past & present r 'n' b, disco, funk & rock 'n' roll - available for weddings & orgies), going to the theatre, walking the dog(he lives with my parents but he's still very close to me), the cinema (action to foreign and everything inbetween), dancing round my bedroom, books (classic literature, history & beat writers) and going on the org.

Life's good these days. Which is good.
