Those of you who know me understand that I am generally a peaceful quiet pacifist but with the turn of recent events on the Org I am PISSED. Yes, this is about Moonbeam and I would only ask that the moderators read before deleting.

It has been stated several times that people need to have the proper perspective regarding Moonbeam's decision to leave because, after all, he has not DIED. In fact, I believe he has in a way. Certainly not a physical death, but his departure leaves a Spiritual void that can't be filled in any way other than by his return. It is a death of the aura or essence of the Org. Is any one person here more important than another? Of course not. But with 7000+ posts, Ian made a huge impact on many of us. Consider the community that is left behind ~ first, TRON, his Brother, then the love of his life, Diva. And me ~ I celebrated his 16th birthday with him, was at his graduation from High School and have watched him grow from a boy searching for his path into a beautiful Man fully on his way to selfactualization. Many.many of the orgers here have met Ian and love him and multitudes of others are proud to call him a friend. His Brother, Nathan (TRON) and I used to talk about what it meant to be a "Prince Person" ~ maybe naive to some people's views but heartfelt to us. Ian epitomizes that whole philosophy in his kindness, generosity, intellect and non~judgemental nature ~ in his love, understanding and respect for music ~ in his joy and incredible sense of humor and loving to create "mind games" for us to expand out thought processes (squoozens anyone?). His posts were bright beams of light that many of us looked forward to and he acknowledged each one of us with deep caring and respsct. We, as part of the Org. community, DESERVE the right to post about him and to share our grief, memories and dismay at his leaving. Equally, those who don't share our point of view or feel we are overdramatizing, have the right to express their views. The deletion of these posts is DEEPLY disrespectful to all of us and sets a precedent that is unfair, confusing and dictatorial. I can see it now ~ the backlash will become out of hand and the GD forum will be shut down like it was a year ago and in the meantime the Sex forum will be alive and thriving (or is that writhing?). Some justice huh?.
I truly believe that people have become edgier than normal ~ quite probably due to the fact that there is a Full Moon with a Lunar Eclipse tonight, but we need the chance to work this through and come to terms with Moonbeam leaving (and now several others I'm told but how would I know as apparently the threads are deleted.) If you view the Eclipse tonight (beginning in Michigan around 6:30pm) take a few minutes to reflect on all the orgers, how much we mean to each other and the private losses we feel when one leaves under any circumstances. And, if you are fortunate enough to see the Moon's glow shimmering at the edges of the darkness ~ know that this is our very own Moonbeam smiling with us. Thank you ~ Nikki

Wonderfully, beautifully put Nikki. And I agree. It doesn't seem fair that 2 people didn't like the thread and it got removed. There were at least 50 of us who did post on there lovingly about Ian. People have added their names to their signatures and many have left because he has or because my thread was removed. I doubt this was his intention and it defintiely wasn't mine. So could someone please bring back that thread and let people get it out of their systems. Otherwise there will be countless threads like this trying to do the same thing. Thank you.

you know, i love TRON and Moonbeam, like they were my own brothers, but i think everyone, them, moderators, the people commenting on it... are taking all of this way too seriously.

it all just seems a bit over the top and silly. and as someone who's been there, done that, in retrospect, i think you'll agree with me.

erm...i didnt want ian to leave either. but i know that the org is not the only way for me to contact him...i have his email,messenger,etc...so ill be keeping in touch...i cant say im really bothered so much by it now.

Moonbeam is a cool person, no question about that. But if he decided to depart from a message board, it's really nothing more than that. He's still alive and kicking, and you still know how to reach him.

You can meet alot of cool people on the org. But if they nix their org account for whatever reason, that doesn't mean they are gone.

It's all about the people, not their org accounts.

I'm sorry, he left because a new forum was open by the vote of the orgers. Nobody has ever even messed with moonbeam as far as i know. He just up and left. Nobody made him leave. Am i missing something?
