I let tv decide for me.

When we start seeing Christmas episodes of the Gilmore Girls, I know it's time!

I never go shopping on Christmas Eve.It's crazy! I can't see why so many people prefer to do their shopping on Christmas Eve,when it's nothing but crowded chaos in every store. Also,I never go shopping the day after Christmas either.Who cares about the markdowns? After Christmas, the LAST place I wanna be is back inside a crowded shopping mall...lol

It usually starts the day after turkey day, that's when the decorations start going-up and the shopping begins.

Amen to both... nod

When I buy Xmas gifts, I do it when the mood/desire hits me...I couldn't care less about sales or discounts, and most of the things I buy are at stores that are unique, not really chain stores. I can't just buy a gift for the sake of buying a gift...it has to "speak" to me about the person I'm buying it for. Luckily I have about 2 or 3 stores that rarely let me down for unique, inspired gifts...I just head there during any moment that the person I'm buying for is in my thoughts and heart. rose
