yet another reason why i cannot stand the police...i've never been in trouble with the law but i know several friends and family members who've had encounters similar to these.

Yes, there are good cops, but when 9 of 10 personal experiences with them have been bad, you tend to lump them all together. I did mention that there were a few shining examples. I do agree with you that you could probably go round and round on this issue.

And then there are cops that put their life on the line to keep you safe. We can go round and round and round on this subject. YES there are some fucking asshole cops that think their shit don't stink and try to get away with everything. But there are also very good ones...can't let some rotten apples spoil the whole bunch.

And then when I hear comments like "Fuck tha police" and "all cops are shit" it saddens me. I do feel that some police crack under stress...they deal with assholes everyday too and some can't handle it. I went to the academy with some cats that were 22. What the hell do you know at that age? What kind of life expperiences have you had? 22 with a gun and power usually equals an asshole on a power trip. And the older you get, usually the more of an asshole you become. I've had many run ins with the cops. I think my skin was my sin in a lot of those cases especially being raised in Orange County Cali and SLC Utah. I still get pulled over a lot for the funkiest reasons but I imagine they are trained numerous tactics and reasons to be able to pull you over. example: no front plates, some fix it excuse, swerving, etc. I've been woken in the middle of the night by a phone call with a lady's voice saying " this is the Irvine Police Dept. please open your front door for the two officers" doing so I was thrown against the wall outside my home, held against my will, had them flash lights shining in my eyes. I couldn't see shit and they asked two women " is this him? Is this the guy that was messin with your car " and the ladys telliin them it wasn't me. Then the cops tellin me sorry for the inconvinience go back to bed. Ihave always said FUCK THE POLICE even long before the song. The only cop I have liked or respected is illimack. She posts here on the org but seems more open minded than any cop I've come across. I'm sure there are more cops out there that are probably good people but I've hardly ever ran into any.


on a lighter note, in jail it is known between the inmates that the reason sherrifs and cops are such dicks is cuz they're the ones that were [icked on and fucked with in their youth and that's why they take pleasure now of having authority and getting back at all of those thugs/folks who intimidated them as youngsters.

So today at 9 pm I was about to get in my car... and on my way to the car, I saw a cop car. They were just sitting there eatin donuts and talkin on their cell phones keepin the car runnin so tax payers can pay $1.95/gallon for the gas in their cruiser

Anyway, I got in my car, buckled up and drove off. They decided they were gonna drive too. Cool. I obeyed all traffic stops and lights, turned right and drove about 10 blocks.

10 blocks. Obeying all traffic stops, etc.

Then they turned on their lights. So I pull to the side thinking they need to pass, but they pull behind me. What the fuck?

Okay so this aint new. We know the drill. Busta rhymes style put yo hands in the air where I can see type a shit. They come out their car and start flashing their flashlights all in my face and car, so I can barely see anything or their face or their badge number or their name.

Dude asks me for license and registration which I provide. And he looks at my license and is like, "Um where are you from?" I say "Maryland" He says no, where are you really from. Annoyed I say "Maryland." Then he looks at me and is like "No your ethnicity... you don't look like you from here." WHATTHEFUCK!?!?!?!?!?!

So I say I am and my name is one of those names... cuz my ppls was on the no slave name kick.

So he goes back to his squad car. And 10 minutes later comes back and is like, "Okay here you go. Have a nice day."

I'm like WHAAA? You's a FOO! (In my mind of course cuz I aint gonna be asking why cant we all get along and my name aint Rodney).

So I say, Um, can I have your badge number. And he starts getting belligerent with me. "Why do you need it?" "Because I really don't understand why I got stopped and I would just like to make a note of this."

So then he steps back from my car and looks at me and is like "Well let's see... hmmm, we could get you on wrecklessly changing lanes (me pulling over when they put their lights on) or ummm." So I see where he's going. So I say "never mind."

And he's like "Is there a problem." And I was like "Well what was up with the questions about ethnicity." So then he starts pointing at his skin getting all defensive, saying "See this I'm your color (he was latino) so I'm just wondering if you are from the same country I am or if you speak the same language." Okay, Umm my name is NOT velazquez or rodriguez or anything CLOSE TO THAT. So I'm like what the fuck. How lame is that bull shit!

Anyway, I'm like whatever dude. And he goes back to his car and I wait til they drive away so I could at least get the car number.

I have this info now and they are from the precinct headquarters that are around the corner from my house. I fear tho--by his attitude--that if I report the stop, I may come out one day to find my tires slashed or some other bullshit.

See this is why I say fuck the police. I do not care what the fuck color you are if you got on a cop uniform I'm gonna be suspicious of yo ass. Niggas be gettin a uniform (and I mean all niggas--white black brown) and start thinkin like friggin gestapo.
