no, not the religious/spiritual stuff, when your dead and cold laying on a ceramic slate in a mortuary. yep, i had my 1st mortuary visit as part of the course i'm on

1st off your opened from the bottom of your neck down to your belly, the insides come out...all of them. the most amazing thing is the removal of the aesophagus and stomach, it comes out with the the tongue attacthed. your skull is sawed open and the scalp peeled forward over your eyes, next with the aid of a hammer and chisel the rest of the skull is opened for easy retrivel of the brain - which is kind of soft and jelly, not hard and firm like in the movies. men, your tesicles are removed, women...i'm not sure what is removed from down there cause we only had a dead guy. all the organs are weighed and if the cause of death is not known then the bigg boss (coroner) comes down and takes a peek. the only thing i could not view was the removal of the spine - against DOH rules. facinating stuff really. cant wait to go again.
