When is it time to re-evaluate a friendship.........

Just a thought that comes accross my mind today.
Here are a few thoughts.

Did you ever or do you still have any friends that seem like they are always trying to make a buck off of you? It would be one thing if this is their profession but this isn't the case. Should friends prosper off of other friends when it's completely unnecessary.

I consider my situation as getting taken advantage of. I don't want to go into great details but if you're getting taken advantage of do you consider these people friends?

Do alot of people have the attitude that they have to get the better of the situation in a relationship rather than the short end of the stick. (relationship in the case means friends)

In this case I still consider this person a friend but I know where I stand and I feel I need to re-define my role as a friend.

That's why business and friendship should never mix.
Friends always want stuff for free from their friend.
If you would pay $50.00 from a stranger to get it, what is wrong paying $25.00 to a friend who could use a finanial break too? Very touchy and delicate area.
I GOT YA, I GOT YA, I GOT YA PUNKASS! REPEAT

Is it possible to do business with friends? IE Contacts that state everything clearly so their are no areas to get burned in?

It was a joke but I'm not sure why the shut up, it's a question I am wanting insight with. I have no idea who red feathers is not that I really care but I'm curious about her comment. I mean it had so much depth and it must take someone extremely intellgent to come up with that type of reply.

Well, Mr. Bungle I think you need to answer that question for yourself...

Deep down inside only you know what you are feeling... Good luck!

True but insight always helps to base your decision. Under circumstances like this it's good to hear multiple opinions.

just tell him how u feel, they probably don't know that you're feeling like they're taking advantage of you. So if they're your friends like you say they are, then they'll listen... but if it proceeds after you spoke up chances are they're not really good friends and they're just using you.

True! Even if they know what they are doing and they have no problems with it I still have to consider this person a friend. I guess I just need to realize that in certain situations things are going to be different and that each friend that I have deserves a differnt level when dealing with them.

Don't sweat it, It's no big thing, I can only laugh at it. The net is such a great place for some. You can hide beind it, act certain ways and so on without showing your face. It's pretty funny how things online work.

such contracts can be created but wouldn't the process of negotiating the tricky issues can also strain the friendship as if one partner had breached the contract somehow? like what happens in some pre-nup cases? plus, you can never eliminate the risk that people change and so do circumstances.
