I didn't see this. Am I missing something? I was listening to the radio this past week and Laurence Fishburne was talking to one of the radio personalities who said there was something explained in Animatrix about The Matrix and that there's a scene in Reloaded that has a connection with the Animatrix. Also Enter The Matrix is supposed to give clues about The Matrix as well

Anybody seen Animatrix? Should I rent it? Should I get the game too?

Speaking the video game, there is an hour of bonus footage from The Matrix Reloaded that delves into a side story, but fleshes out Reloaded from the views of Ghost and Niaobi. Those are the main characters in the video game.

Animatrix is STUNNING. It expands on The Matrix phenomenon that deals how man created AI and how the Man - AI fight took place, a side plot about Trinity and another one on a teenage character that "knows too much" and is saved by Neo (who you see giving praise and honor to Neo in Reloaded). I believe there are nine animated shorts in all as well as behinds the scenes with the animators.

The Amimatrix is just an important piece to The Matrix family as is the movies. Just like the cartoon's of Star Wars : Clone Wars.

i think you should definitely BUY it if you enjoyed "final fantasy"...i loved that movie so without any question of even seeing any reviews on animatrix, i bought it, NO REGRETS!!! it wont collect dust thats for sure...

The videogame is a big steaming pile of shite, but it does contain an hours worth of movie clips that were not used in Reloaded. So, it's for hardcore Matrix fans only. As a videogame in its own right, it's pretty dreadful.

Last time I looked at The Matrix website (quite a few months ago) you could watch a few episodes of The Animatrix.

I played the first level of the game on the PC and rather enjoyed it.

'Final Flight of The Osiris' looked gorgeous in all its CGI lushness, but sod-all story, but then again, who cared?




'Kid's Story' was good - although Im not so sure about what kind of mesage it was trying 2 send out
(ie: throw youself of the roof kids, the Matrix will save u) - kinda dodgy...



My fave though had 2 be 'Matriculated' - Peter Chung is GOD as far as Im concerned, and can do no wrong:
he SO should resurrect Aeon FluX! Matriculated was just perfect: a real LSD mind-fuck of a trip through the Matrix.




If U havent caught the AnimatriX yet - do, it's JAW-DROPPING, mind-expanding stuff.
