Deer

The other night when I got home from work there were two Deer standing at the end of my driveway. I'm thinking great it is too see wildlife like that which I never saw down in Mass.

I just saw what was left of the young cherry tree I planted out back though. I'mm gonna try sprinkling cayanne pepper arond it.
Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

Drive carefully at night and in late fall please, for yourself and them.

Deer are pretty. There has to be a better way to keep them away from your trees, though.

From what I've been told the pepper is perfect
It doesn't hurt them, they stay away from the trees

yeah they'll pop right out in front of your car, alone or in bunches. even when yours is the only car coming along for miles, they'll STILL pop out there. silly creatures, what are they thinking? gotta love 'em though. pretty

It's because of the way their eyes work. I don't remember all the details, but to them the light from your headlights looks like a clearing to them, and they are just jumping into the clearing.
