it's damn true. i'm pretty sick of all this rat race bullshit! it's gets me no where.
it's just day in, day out, the same story everyday. commuting is a bitch, the job is a bitch and my boss' are wankers. all they can see is the mighty dollar. everyone at the company knows full well that all they want to do is build the company so much and then sell it for a damn profit to the highest bidder and not have any loyalty towards the staff that actually do all the company building.

I feel ya Milty, I have the same attitude towards working for somebody else. What I wouldn't give to have my own business where I could do my own thing, set my own hours, etc. etc.

spend your money on drugs...get a hardcore habit going...it'll help you forget...and before long, you'll lose your job...and you can live off the government/everyone else

weirdest thing about this is that i work for the u.s. government, so i'm not quite workin to make others rich...the agency i work for, we all work to keep food safe n'stuff.

But on the flip side, it you ran a company and had to employ several others, you would probabbly be shocked at how much you would have to pay out in employee taxes and insurance plans for them.

I feel ya, Milty. I had the same view about working in the private sector. I work for a municipal government now, and it's not much better. My job now, as a magazine editor/PR guy, is to make a really overprivileged neighboring suburb look great -- with the full knowledge they wouldn't want me there otherwise. And to top it all off, my superiors are so incompetent, I swear I could write a successful sitcom based on them.

It gets sickening. Makes me want to launch my own enterprise.
