Millennium - I LOVED this show, Lance Henriksen as Frank Black was just great.
Oh, and did I mention it pissed over X-Files? From the net: Q. When is Millennium going to be released on DVD? A: It is becoming increasingly likely that the intensive ongoing efforts of the fan community to make a Millennium collection available on DVD may soon pay off. Recently, news coming out of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has been providing support to rumors that Millennium will be released on DVD in the foreseeable future. In a December 2, 2002 Home Theater Forum chat 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment representative Peter Staddon was asked whether or not Millennium was, in fact, being prepped for release on DVD. "That is another TV series I would love to see on DVD," Staddon answered. "The first two seasons were outstanding." Since then, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment President Mike Dunn has offered a reasonable explanation for the continued lack of progress in bringing Millennium to DVD and also hope for the future. While the series' release is reportedly in the development phase, and the company is open to releasing the show, creator Chris Carter has apparently been so overwhelmed in preparing the ongoing The X-Files discs that he hasn't been able to properly devote attention to Millennium. If this is the primary reason Millennium has yet to be brought to DVD, further developments may be forthcoming early in 2004, once the ninth and final season of The X-Files has been released on DVD. This is encouraging news, to say the least. With strong support from within the organization, from those like Staddon, Millennium may soon be available to fans worldwide in the optimum format. First Season - Teaser Trailer: www.millenniumdesktop.co....mgen02.wmv In order to view them you must be using Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.1 or later. Windows XP comes with version 8. Current version is 9 | |
