Ignorance may be bliss...but knowledge is peace. I believe the opposite is true. Questions are like a virus, they only breed more questions. Maybe that's the mind of God.

I say, bliss is complete, unwavering happiness...if you're ignorant of all the "negative" possibilities that exist, then you can live the moments of your days contained within that blissful state. Peace, tho, is calmness...and knowledge can bring about peace simply because you no longer have questions or doubts... Probably, having either complete ignorance or complete knowledge can lead to both bliss and peacefulness.

I've had that happen...sometimes, yes, there're certain things that serve no real purpose for you to know, yet someone takes it upon themselves to make sure you know. It definitely can disrupt a blissful state...*sigh*...yet, depending upon what it is, it can also lead to a more peaceful state at the same time. ...ignorant edit. I am so envious of my children. I would love to be able to just sleep without the weight of the world on my shoulders. I love how my daughter is able to make friends with other little kids and not pay attention to the color of skin. Yes, I believe ignorance is bliss. I rather not know.
