At the end, where the sun comes up and The Oracle is setting on that bench...

That's the Botanical Gardens in Sydney Harbour.

I used to sit under that tree, in that very same spot (on a different bench, albeit) almost every day at lunch time while I was in high school.

Anyway, the movie was, IMO, the BEST Matrix movie. The main battle scene was nothing short of STUNNING.

Kicked arse over the second one (which pretty much sucked in comparison...all style and no substance) and was just that little bit better than the first.

Also, the train stations where they were fighting...I used to catch the train there all the time, too.

So yeah, anyway...good movie and good locations to shoot at!

And most of it was filmed at the Oakland Army Base(where i work most of the time). It's a trip because i don't reconize any scene in there.

Sure, but that was pretty much the only good thing about it. I´ve never seen so many loose ends in one movie. At least ten key plot points were left unresolved.

It´s also funny how they seemed to lose focus on the main characters. Neo and Trinity were gone for like thirty minutes in the middle of the movie and we sure didn´t see much of Morpheus. And where the hell did that butch chick with the rocket launcher come from? So much screen time and no back story whatsoever.
